What is checked in a background check?
I'm sure you have often asked yourself the question what is checked in a background check? A lot of people have this question and there are several different answers to the question.
Typically someone's criminal record would be checked during a background check actually your entire criminal history would be checked as well as your address history oh, your phone number, credit check yes it's possible for an employer to check your credit also your landlord could check your credit report in a background check.normally when people are checking your background they are looking to see if you have any felonies or misdemeanors or anything weird that may pop up on your background.
They also May check to see if you have any bankruptcies or repossessions.
they may check to see if you have been married or divorced before.
Basically your entire past can be checked on your background report and people can see everything that you have done in your lifetime. I know this isn't the news you wanted to hear but it is so true and all I can do is just give you the plane simple facts on what people look for when they check your background report.
That is why you have to be very careful when doing anything because it could affect you the rest of your life and it may not necessarily be your fault but although it's not your fault it will show up on your background report and it may prevent you from getting that job that you want so badly.
These are just a few of the things that will show up when people check your background but there are many other things that I haven't even talked about that will also show up when someone does a background check on you.
